Main attractions

Saschiz is located at the foot of some forested hills in the southeast part of the Târnavelor Plateau, 19 km from Sighisoara and 95 km from Brasov. Saschiz has been documented since 1308-1310.

built between 1493-1525, together with its tower, which resembles the clock tower in Sighisoara;

14th-15th century Saxon refuge fortress

that also guards the commune. 

Both landmarks are part of Unesco heritage.

The central square

is the starting point of some picturesque cycling routes that stretch over a length of over 100 km and follow the Transylvanian hills.

They include the network of Saxon villages with their fortified churches: Archita, Daia, Cloasterf, Crit, Bunesti, Mesendorf, Viscri, as well as the town of Sighisoara.

The rental center

is situated in the main square of the village, opposite to the Tower Church, with access from the national road. 

It’s being hosted by a typical Saxon house, built in 1759, one of the oldest and most representative in the entire commune. Here, a former hop dryer dating back from the 19th century has been repurposed in order to house bicycles and their accessories.

A pleasant experience

We have purchased mountain and electric bikes from prestigious manufacturers such as Cannondale and Cube

We have for you Cannondale Trail 2, and from Cube, the Reaction Pro model, both in the mountain segment as well as electric.
For the electric bikes, we have the 4th generation Bosch CX Line engines, which offer a pleasant experience and as much autonomy as possible.
